Roseburg, OR - December 5, 2005 - Effective November 30, 2005, PEAK Internet, a premier Oregon Internet Services Provider (ISP), is proud to announce the acquisition of Wizzards-Magick.Net, Inc. PEAK will be assimilating over 1500 customers in Roseburg, Myrtle Creek, Canyonville, Grants Pass, Medford, and Klamath Falls. The existing Wizzards-Magick customers currently subscribe to a variety of services, including Lightspeed Dial Up Service, Domain name hosting, high-speed DSL Internet access, and professional Web Site design and graphics design.

Bob Shivers first established Wizzards of the World Wide Web Inc. in November of 1995. In order to accommodate rapid growth, they moved the offices to downtown Roseburg at 533 SE Main in May of 1996. In the second part of the equation, Harold Miller established JCIC Net in Grants Pass at the request of the Josephine County Internet Council in 1993. In the summer of 1995, JCIC Net became Magick Net, Inc. Their first offices were on Whispering Pines Lane in Grants Pass. As the company rapidly grew, they moved to downtown Grants Pass on January 1, 1996. Finally, Wizzards of the World Wide Web Inc. purchased controlling interest in Magick Net Inc. in September 1997 to form the company now known as Wizzards/Magick.Net.
Located in Corvallis, Oregon, PEAK Internet was founded in 1992 and was acquired in 2002 by Casco Communications, an Oregon-based company owned by Pioneer Consolidated and Consumers Power.
